La. Guard trains Cyber Defense Incident Response Team

Members of the Louisiana National Guard’s new Cyber Defense Incident Response Team (CDIRT) learn about identifying cyber attack types and origins during a two-day training event as part of a partnership with the Louisiana State University Stephenson Disaster Management Institute (SDMI) Cyber Security Initiative, February 7-8, 2015, in Baton Rouge, La.

Approximately 40 Soldiers and Airmen from across the state attended in an effort to learn vital cyber attack protection skills.
